Security for the entire 91¿´Æ¬Íø campus is provided 24 hours a day courtesy of University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) Security Department. provides detailed information, including safety tips and crime reporting procedures, as well as services and resources offered.
Annual Safety Reporting
In November 1990, the Campus Awareness and Campus Security Act (Public Law 101-542) was signed into law. In part, this law requires colleges and universities to publish and distribute, through publications or mailings, an annual report of campus policies and crime statistics to all current students and employees and provide copies of the annual report to any applicant for enrollment or employment (upon request).
This information must be distributed by October 1 of each year.

91¿´Æ¬Íø Alert
When campus is closed due to weather, if a crisis occurs, or if other 91¿´Æ¬Íø news breaks, you will receive notifications called “91¿´Æ¬Íø Alert.” The system is powered by RAVE, and requires a first-time user confirmation. Inclement Weather Closing
In the instance of the College closing, current students should check with their instructors regarding department-specific guidelines for handling clinical assignments.
